Simple steps to log into your router

Common IP addresses:

• ^192.168.1.1
  
• ^192.168.0.1
  
• ^10.0.0.1

You can also find it on a sticker on your router or in your device’s network details.

Connect your device to your router using:

• _Wi-Fi
• _{or an Ethernet cable (recommended)}

Use any web browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Type the IP address into the address bar and press Enter.

Enter your router username and password.

(Default is often admin / admin)

You are now logged in! You can view and change your router settings.

After making changes, click Save or Apply to keep your settings.

Press Windows + R

• _{Type cmd and press Enter}
• _{Type ipconfig and press Enter}
• _{Look for “Default Gateway”}

Go to Apple menu > System Settings

• _{Click Network}
• _{Select your connection}
• _{Click Details > TCP/IP}
• _{Look for “Router”}

Check the IP address

• _{Make sure you’re connected}
• _{Try http:// instead of https://}
• _{Try a different browser}

Some routers use alternative addresses:

• _192.168.2.1
• _192.168.0.1
• _{192.168.100.1}
• _10.0.0.1

• _{Try default credentials on the label}
• _{If changed and forgotten, you may need to reset the router.}

• _{Connect to Wi-Fi}
• _{Open browser}
• _{Type the router IP}
• _{Login as normal}

• Bookmark the router login page for quick access next time.

• _{Go to System Tools > Firmware Update}
• _{Check for updates}
